The Ski Resort Axamer-Lizum is located in Innsbruck and its Holiday Villages in Tyrol, Austria. At the foot of the magnificent Kalkkogel Mountains, with 30 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 1,580 and 2,340 metres, this resort is known as Innsbruck’s ‘White Roof’.
Skiers and snowboarders will find a wide range of slopes with varying degrees of difficulties for every ability. The 7 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes cater for those who are new to skiing and want to experience slower paced pistes, whilst the 21 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes and 2 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes offer a more challenging ride and off-piste areas for more experienced skiers and free riders. As well as the 30 kilometres of slopes, there is also 10 kilometres of additional ski routes.
The snow park is a highly popular added attraction and is located at the bottom of the station of the ‘Olympiabahn Funicular’ It is freshly groomed daily and has a variety of boxes and obstacles, perfect for a bit of ‘shred action’. Even though the day is over, the night is just beginning. Relax and with drinks and snacks in one of the many restaurants and bars situated within the resort. One of the most favoured spots is the ‘Panoramarestaurant Hoadl Haus’, which is 2,340 metres above sea level and has a large terrace exhibiting some breath-taking views of the surrounding area.
