Galtür–Silvapark ski resort can be found in Oberland region, (Paznaun-Ischgl) Landeck, Tyrol, Austria and is located in the heart of the Silvretta mountain range, surrounded by numerous 3000 metres high mountains. It is well known for being a wonderful family-friendly resort where snow and fun are guaranteed.
For skiing and snowboarding there are 43 kilometres of optimally groomed slopes an additional 6 kilometres of ski routes set at elevations between 1,600 and 2,300 metres, which provide a varied ski experience for everyone. The majority of slopes are aimed towards intermediate skiers with a total of 25 kilometres of slopes. However, the 12 kilometres of attractive black slopes will challenge even the most confident of skiers, the most difficult run being the Ballun slope which is 1.1 kilometre in length. There are 6 kilometres of easy slopes and a practice area to round off the offering.
Night skiing is a popular attraction for this resort as there is a 2.2-kilometre floodlit slope open until 22:30 perfect for night owls who find the skiing day that little bit too short. The Galtür ski resort doesn't just offer fantastic slopes, they also have brilliant après ski. The Weiberhimml is a quaint, rustic little hut which serves snacks, a range of beverages as well as giving guests the chance to relax with panoramic views.
