The Silveretta Montafon ski resort is a spectacularly large resort in Austria, offering up over 113km of slopes to skiers and snowboarders alike. You will be hard pressed to sample everything this resort has to offer, given that there are an additional 27km of ski routes available, 37 ski lifts to help visitors and residents navigate the slopes, and elevations of between 700m and 2,430m.
You’re bound to have a fantastic skiing holiday at this resort, even if you’ve had no ski experience before. With the resort having 60km of easy blue slopes, 45km of intermediate red slopes and 8km of difficult black slopes, there is more than enough for beginners and avid winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy. Make sure to try out slope numbers 42, 33 and 21, as well as the Hochjoch Totale, an absolutely huge run of 12km that descends over 1,700 metres.
Alongside its traditional ski offering, the resort has a wide variety of additional activities for guests to indulge in. They include snowcat rides, night tobogganing, torch-lit hikes, freestyling in the snow park, a speed measurement course, an excellent valley run and marked ski routes all across the Nova for advanced skiers only.
Amongst a diverse range of bars and restaurants, visitors and residents can easily curb hunger pangs with a visit to Nova Stoba, Valisera Hüsli or Kapellrestaurant, all of which are perfect for children and adults alike.
