Spital am Pyhrn resort information

Wurzeralm – Spital am Pyhrn ski resort is situated in the Pyhrn-Priel Holiday Region, Upper Austria. It provides guests with 22km of varied slopes and 7 lifts to transport all guests around the resort and elevations are between 810 and 1,870m.

Wurzeralm is situated between Stubwies, Rote Wand and Warscheneck, which is accessed within minutes with the funicular. There is a wide variety of slopes available here, offering a skiing and snowboarding experience for all capabilities. There are 10km of easy runs for beginners to enjoy and to learn the required skills and techniques, 10km is owned by intermediate slopes, and there are 2km of difficult terrain for experienced skiers to explore. There is a Sunny Kids Park for the little ones who enjoy snow sports and a valley run to add to the excitement of the winter sports. The Gammering slope and the Frauenkar slopes are long, natural snow filled runs offering 4.5km of terrain. For fun with wave runs and a snake race course try the Adventure slopes, where the most challenging run is the Panorama slope. Suggested routes through the ski resort are Panorama circuit and the Bärenachter.
