In the District of Neunkirchen, the ski resort Zauberberg Semmering has plenty to offer winter sports enthusiasts during their stay. With 14km of fresh white slopes on offer, skiers and snowboarders will be kept entertained, as well as having the use of 3 ski lifts to get around the entire resort. Elevations at the skiing destination are between 985m and 1,350m.
The resort is well-equipped for professional skiers, given the FIS World Cup Panorama slope and specialist floodlighting to illuminate the slopes during the evening. However, there are plenty of slopes on offer for complete beginners too. In total, there are 6.7km of easy blue slopes, 6.5km of intermediate red slopes and 0.8km of difficult black slopes to keep guests happy. The Family run is the longest at the resort at 2.5km, but skiers and snowboarders are advised to experience both the Kogel run and Westhang before they leave for home.
The Osthang Freeride area is reserved for more advanced skiers given the terrain, but there is an adventure toboggan run that is perfect for friends and families to have a go on.
