The ski resort Vals 3000 – Dachberg located in Vals (Valsertal) Eastern Switzerland is one of the highest ski resorts in Grisons and an ideal ski resort for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Experience Swiss skiing at its very best on 25 kilometres of white slopes and an elevation of between 1,286 and 2,941 metres. The vertical descent ensures a diverse range of surfaces for visitors and residents to take advantage of, as well as guaranteed snowfall during peak season.
Guests are able to use 5 ski lifts to get around the resort, and can take advantage of 5 kilometres of easy slopes. The Kleinvalser Arena practice area and easy slopes above Gadastatt are ideal for beginners. 15 kilometres of intermediate slopes challenge those who are looking to progress and 5 kilometres of difficult slopes including 2.5 kilometres long Valley Run and freeriding on the Dachberg are very exhilarating. The variety in skill level ensures that the resort has an almost universal appeal, with families, groups of friends and children all enjoying the slopes at once.
Once guests have enjoyed an active day on the slopes, they can take in the relaxed atmosphere of one of the many restaurants in the area. Try the Panoramarestaurant Gadastatt located at the mountain station of the gondola lift to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Eastern Alps from a large sun terrace. Alternatively, there is Skihütte Dachberg which is the smallest and highest restaurant in the Valsertal, great for food, plenty of après-ski drinks and fun with friends.
