Aspen Mountain resort information

Located in the Aspen Snowmass of Colorado USA is the Ski Resort Aspen Mountain. It is 1 of 4 mountains in the Aspen area (Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk) At the Aspen Mountain Resort skiers can slip and slide down the same slopes that hosted the World Cup Races.

With over 103 kilometres of slopes set between elevations of 2,451 and 3,559 metres, this resort consists of mainly difficult and intermediate slopes, with high terrain leading through the forest down to the valley. There are 49 kilometres of ‘red’ intermediate slopes and 54 kilometres of ‘black’ expert slopes, steep enough to challenge even the most confident of skiers and snowboarders and is even famous for its black-diamond terrain. The fun doesn’t stop on the slopes at this spectacular resort, as there are so many other activities available which are fun for all the family, for example, snow tubing, ice skating and snowshoe hikes through the prepared trails.

Aspen is famous for its après-ski and there are so many terraces, bars and restaurants to choose from. ‘The Sundeck’ restaurant and ‘Bonnie's’ restaurant are just two of the many on offer. The most popular however is ‘The Ajax Tavern’ and is located at the base of the mountain right next to the Silver Queen Gondola. It is absolutely fantastic for après-ski and the top venue for live music.
