Les Contamines/Hauteluce ski resort is situated in Pays du Mont Blanc, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Savoie Mont Blanc, France. This expansive resort boasts 120km of varied slopes spread across the mountains face. Easy beginner slopes have 40km and are located at high altitudes with the intermediate (60km) and difficult (20km) so the entire family of all different skiing levels are able to ski together. There are 24 operational lifts working around the clock to transport guests around the resort, elevations here are between 1,164 and 2,437m. Aig. Croche is the highest reachable point which stands at 2,487m above sea level.
Even though the resort accommodates beginners and children, it is better used by intermediate and expert skiers, with many of the slopes conditions providing a tough terrain. On the upper part of the mountain (above tree level) there lays some of the very best skiing conditions with little or no ice. The resort offers long, groomed, unique tracks for everyone to explore. Night skiing is also offered and is a wonderful experience.
