A little delight hiding away in the Arrondissement of Saint-Gauden, Luchon-Superbagnères ski resort is located in Haute-Garonne, France.
This family friendly resort is a wonderful choice for those seeking a mini winter sports break, with 32km of varied slopes available this is a more than adequate resort for all skiing and snowboarding capabilities to enjoy.
Luchon offers 16km of easy runs, 10km of intermediate slopes and 6km of difficult terrain, there is a snow park and valley run also available, doted around the resort are 15 operational lifts working daily to transport guests and elevations here are between 1,4656 and 2,125m.
The resort is made up of several ‘zones’ beginner gentle slopes run via the forest and at higher altitudes under the Pic du Céciré the more complicated and skilled routes are discovered. The snow park is popular with free style enthusiast and so is the unchartered terrain.
A glorious panorama view overlooks the Pyrenees, a magnificent view to appreciate. At different locations and altitudes across the resort there are many mountain restaurants serving up hearty meals. Other activities at Luchon include tobogganing, snowshoeing, winter hiking and more.
