Serre Chevalier is a superb connected ski resort, combining the boroughs of Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve-la-Salle and Le Monêtier-les-Bains into one offering. In total, there are 250km of slopes available and 57 ski lifts for visitors and residents to use during their stay. With elevations between 1,200m and 2,800m, guests can expect a huge range of terrain to navigate and discover.
There is something at this resort for everyone, given that there are 38km of easy blue slopes, 80km of intermediate red slopes and 32.5km of difficult black slopes. With the ski lifts and handy ski bus, it is very easy to get around this gigantic resort, and enjoy everything that the different villages and slopes offer. Recommended slopes include Luc Alphand, Aigulette, Cucumelle and Clot Gauthier, although the longest run of Le Prorel-Briancon is 9km long and should not be missed. There is also a Valley run, night-skiing on offer, a snow park for freestylers and a speed measurement course so you can track your improvement during your stay.
The cobbled streets and traditional, unspoiled feel of villages such as Le Monêtier and Briançon are worth a visit during your stay. In amongst the rustic French towns and villages are an abundance of bars and restaurants to find, and are just waiting for eager guests to seek them out after a long day on the slopes.
