The ski resort Isola 2000 is located in the Arrondissement of Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Alpes-Maritimes, France. With a whopping 120 kilometres of slopes, 20 lifts to transport guests and an elevation ranges between 1,800 and 2,603 metres, it’s no surprise that many die-hard ski fans call this resort their favourite. As well as being a resort that offers a wide variety of slopes this beautiful resort also gets quite a lot of sunshine, even throughout the winter months and on a clear day, guests may also be able to catch a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea.
In total the resort offers guests with slopes of all difficulty levels from smooth, wide slopes to the most extreme of descents. With 75 kilometres of easy slopes which are mainly located in the eastern section of the resort, the Grand Tour slope is a slow speed run which is perfect for beginners who want to try out their first slope. 35 kilometres of the resort are classed as intermediate slopes and there are 10 kilometres of expert runs with most slopes in the Méné section of the resort. The most difficult of slopes in the resort is the Mesclun slope which is 8 kilometres in length so if you're up for an extreme challenge then this is perfect for you. Night skiing is also available on the 1.5-kilometre-long blue Chapelle slope.
When it’s time to take a break from the slopes then head over to the children’s area of the resort as this is where you will find the majority of restaurants and bars. The Le Refuge restaurant is a cosy alpine style hut which serves local and international cuisine. If it’s something a little livelier you're after then La Marmotte is a lovely rustic bar which offers beverages and music until late at night.
