The fantastic Val Cenis ski area includes the villages of Lanslevillard, Lanslebourg and Termignon and is located in Vanoise National Park, close to the Italian border.it consists of 125 kilometres of slopes suitable for every age and ability and boasts the reputation of having the longest green run in Europe; L’Escargot is 10 kilometres in length.
Visitors and residents can experience everything this resort has to offer, with 28 chair lifts, T-bars and gondolas to get around in. The elevation ranges between 1,300 and 2,800 meters with a leaning towards easier slopes overall. This makes the Val Cenis ski resort an ideal destination for beginners and families, not that is not to say that there isn’t more challenging run with steep varying terrain. In totality guests can choose to experience the 73 kilometres of easy runs, the Lanslevillard is an ideal starting place for beginners, 42 kilometres of intermediate runs or 10 kilometres of expert runs, as well as having the choice to spend their time at the terrain park or night skiing on the 1.5 kilometres of floodlit slopes.
Alongside the extensive variety of slopes, there is also a huge number of amenities and other activities for guests to partake in, activities such as tobogganing, alpine hikes and prepared snowshoe trails, giving that alternative twist towards the standard slopes. For those wanting to relax after a long day, there is a selection of mountain restaurants cafes and cosy terraces to choose from, La Ramasse is a beautifully rustic restaurant which serves a perfect pizza as well as other amazing dishes.
