Balme Les Autannes – Vallorcine/Le Tour is situated in Chaminox-Mont-Blanc, France, and is a recommended resort for families and groups of friends. There are 13km of easy runs and 16km of medium runs, elevations of 1453m – 2270m and 12 operating lifts to take you into awe-inspiring hills. At the crown of the valley, first time and family skiers often flock to use the pleasant green and blue runs.
Whilst the resort is accessed via the village of Le Tour and Vallorcine. The Alpines offer plentiful opportunities on two sides of the mountain; from Charamillon, enjoy the wide open soft slopes overlooking the entire Chamonix valley and on the Vallorcine side, ski beautiful tree-lined runs bordering on Switzerland.
This is not only a popular choice of resorts for families but also with young people as there are many night clubs and bars here open until late, often until 0600hrs. Some of the most entertaining venues include Les Caves, a great wine and cocktail bar with chic decoration and cosy atmosphere. If cocktails are tickling your taste buds then Chamonix Social Club is the venue to visit with professionals on hand to mix the perfect cocktails and liqueurs. For a night out with a difference, Electro-Pop is a great recommendation. With a vibrant atmosphere, fancy dress nights and guest DJ’s this is the perfect place to let your hair down and enjoy the party.
