La Colmaine ski resort can be found in the beautiful Arrondissement of Nice, Alps-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France.
In the resort guests are able to enjoy 30km of varied slopes (22km of easy, 6km of intermediate and 2km of difficult runs), if this isn’t satisfactory maybe the additional valley run will suffice. Located just 60 minutes from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport this is the perfect place for children to explore the slopes there are 7 operational lifts for guests to utilise. In addition to the slopes guests are able to enjoy the snowshoe and toboggan run, there is an epic half-pipe for freestyle and an ESF ski school with a snow garden for the little nippers. The main attraction here, slopes aside, has to be the zip-line on the Linge 1. A truly thrilling experience running the entire length of the mountain.
At Pic de la Colmaine 1,800m some of the most magnificent views of the Alps can be discovered, dining is also possible here so guests can enjoy the scenery in comfort and warmth whist sampling a freshly brewed coffee and steaming hot waffles. Another amazing view point is to go to the summit at 2,246m to get a better view of the French Alps.
