One of the largest and most extensive ski destinations in Switzerland is the Ski Resort Arosa Lenzerheide. Located in Lenzerheide Holiday Region and the Arosa Holiday Region of Eastern Switzerland, this absolutely outstanding resort has something for every skier and snowboarder.
Consisting of an impressive 225 kilometres of breath-taking views, with elevation ranges between 1,229 and 2,865, the high altitudes require skill and endurance from skiers whilst rewarding them with astonishing views and unforgettable moments. The 111 kilometres of easy slopes are perfect for those new to the winter sport to experience the smoothest of cruises. The wide and pleasant slopes on the west side of Lenzerheide are ideal for beginners and families. The 87 kilometres of intermediate slopes provide more challenging opportunities for more advanced skiers and the 27 kilometres of expert slopes test even the most skilled skiers on the steepest of chutes. Night Skiing is also available on 3.5 kilometres of floodlit slopes.
There are so many different activities for visitors and residents, for example winter hiking - why not take a walk through the fabulous alpine setting on some of the prepared routes. Tobogganing is also a very popular activity, alongside fat biking, snowshoeing, sledding, or playing hockey in Graubünden.
When the ski day is over there is an abundance of bars, terraces, huts and restaurants to help relax and unwind. The ‘Kuhbar an der Tschuggenhütte’ is situated at the side of the mountain and the view from the sun terrace rounds off an enjoyable day on the slopes.
