The Ski Resort Aletsch Arena – Riederalp/Bettmeralp/Fiesch Eggishorn is located in the Aletsch Arena of Switzerland. It is here, on the sunny plateau located high above the Rhone Valley, that skiers, snowboarders and winter sports enthusiasts alike can revel in their passion for snow.
Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp are interlinked by 104 kilometres of awe-inspiring mountain scenery and exhilarating slopes. With elevations ranging between 1,845 to 2,869 metres, 15 kilometres of ski routes and 36 ski lifts, Aletsch Arena provides a favourable mixture of easy, intermediate and difficult runs above tree level through snow-capped backdrops and what’s more, residents can enjoy all the Aletsch Arena pistes with just one ski pass which is valid in all cableways and lifts.
But it’s not just skiing that makes this resort so popular. There is a multitude of activities to partake in, including, fat biking, ice skating along the natural ice rink, snowshoeing through the crisp, snow covered 3-kilometre countryside trail and enjoying the thrill of sledding through the 13-kilometre run into the valley. Paragliding or hang gliding is also another way to take in the breath-taking natural scenery. Residents can also learn to yodel, taking part in something a little different to make their holiday that little bit more special.
