The ski resort Grimentz/Zinal is located in the Val d'Anniviers Mountain, Wallis, Valais, Lemanic Region of Switzerland. It is a wonderful ski resort with a whopping 80 kilometres of ski slopes and an additional 10 kilometres of ski routes for both skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities.
This resort has a traditional alpine feel about it, with elevations between 1,570 and 3,149 meters and 96 snow cannons, it is guaranteed that slopes are kept topped up with snow throughout the season. There is a special ski lift and a magic carpet for children and beginners in the village, 26 kilometres of "blue" slopes, 28 kilometres of "red" slopes and 26 kilometres of "black" slopes to challenge the most experienced of skiers. The high altitudes require skill and endurance from skiers, whilst rewarding them with astonishing views and unforgettable moments. There is also a free ride zone, extremely popular for those who are skilled at winter sports, providing opportunities to ski through the alpines to the snow park and the valley run.
The resort has two spectacular view points; Becks De Bossom which stands at 3,149 metres and Roc D’Orzival peaks at 2,853. In addition to the wealth of slopes and views, there is a range of other exciting activities to choose from. For those wanting something a little calmer, why not try a snowshoe walk on a variety of different, carefully prepared and marked trails. Go tobogganing or even try your hand at parachuting. Whatever you enjoy doing, you’re sure to find something for you at the Grimentz/Zinal ski resort.
