The Grimmialp ski resort is located in Regional Nature Park Diemtigtal, Bernese Oberland, Espace, Mittelland, Switzerland. It may be a small resort with a relaxed, less crowded vibe, but it does boast a very 767 metres (2515 feet) of vertical descent. With over 10 kilometres of slopes and elevation ranges between 1,230 and 1,890 metres, quality snowfall is guaranteed throughout the winter season making it ideal for a perfect family holiday in the snow.
Grimmialp is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders with 5 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes, but there is also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. If you’re after a smooth ride on the slopes then the 4 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes ensure pleasant gliding, whilst the 1 kilometre of ‘expert’ black runs can challenge even the most advanced skiers. So whether you are a powder professional or a beginner you are sure to find something to suit your skill level.
The fun doesn’t end on the slopes; there is a wealth of alternative activities to take part in including, tobogganing and snow shoe walking, ice skating, sledging and camping. Guests can even organise a Ski tour on the Januarsonne or go paragliding at the Delta flying school.
