Located in the beautiful province of Lötschental, Valais, Lemanic Region, Switzerland is the wonderful ski resort Lauchernalp – Lötschental.
The resort boasts 55km of varied slopes, 20km for beginners to enjoy, 17km for intermediate skiers to explore and 18km of difficult runs for advanced skiers to challenge. Elevations here are between 1,419 and 3,111m, there are 5 operational lifts working daily to transport guests around the resort and to their chosen elevation. At the peak of Bietschhorn at 3,934m some magnificent panoramic views of the 4,000m peak of the Valais Region. There are many hiking trails around the mountain and at various locations there are bars and brasseries for you to rest at.
In addition to the slopes you are able to explore the freeriding paradise which goes up to 3,111m, the longest run here is the Hockenhorngrat-Schilthorn-National-valley run-Wiler at 10km and the most difficult run is the Petersgrat, other recommended slopes include the valley run and the Schilthorn run.
