A great Swiss skiing experience can be found at Sedrun – Oberalp, located in the Disentis Sedrun Holiday Region, Switzerland. With 50km of slopes available and 7 ski lifts to choose from whilst staying at the resort, skiers and snowboarders of every calibre will feel perfectly at home here. At elevations ranging between 1,500m and 2,300m, there are different skiing surfaces to suit everyone.
With so many different levels of skiing expertise, it’s good there is such a range at this resort. It includes 10km of blue slopes, 35km of red and 5km of black. The emphasis here is on the able-skier, who is seeking a bit more of a challenge after perfecting the basics on the snow. The longest run is Cuolm Van-Dieni which is 3.5km in length. In addition, there is a large terrain park, a ski cross area and a halfpipe for freestylers to take advantage of.
Visitors and residents will need to rest up every evening after long days exploring the slopes. The best options for food include Hotel Kruezli, Restaurant Sudada and Ustria Alpsu, which has great views when sitting on the terrace.
