Located in the Tarentaise skiing area of France, Sainte Foy Tarentaise is a large resort with plenty to offer the discernible skier or snowboarder. With over 41km of slopes between elevations of 1,550m and 2,620m, there is a perfect variety of terrain for all abilities to take advantage of.
The slopes can be divided by skill levels, with 10km of easy slopes, 25km of intermediate slopes and 6km of difficult slopes available. The weighting towards intermediate means there are plenty of opportunities for skiers and snowboarders who are looking to explore. In addition, there are 10 snow cannons to keep slopes topped up with fresh snow.
Unlike some larger resorts, Sainte Foy Tarentaise is widely considered to be easy-going, charming and unspoilt. With picturesque architecture, historical monuments and houses built on columns, visitors and residents will be able to enjoy a rich heritage alongside their skiing or snowboarding exploits. Being unspoilt extends to the runs given that there are several valley runs, forest runs and nature hikes to discover.
From the more luxurious restaurants of Chez Marie and Le Savoy, both serving exquisite French and European dishes, to the exquisite views from Eden’s Kitchen and Le 2134 Les Arcs, guests of the resort have an abundance of quality eateries to choose from after a day on the slopes.
