Fans of Swiss skiing and snowboarding will be delighted with the range of slopes on offer at the Vercorin ski resort. Located in the Val d'Anniviers, Valais, Switzerland, this wonderful resort has over 35 kilometres of slopes available, all served by 10 lifts, including the new 10-seater cable cars which transport guests to their chosen slopes as well as providing superb scenery. The elevation of the resort is between 1,341 and 2,374 metres above sea level.
With some extremely good descents and ski runs, the resort has many wide slopes for those just starting out on the snow, along with some more challenging opportunities for those feeling more adventurous. There are 13 kilometres of slopes classified as easy and 19 kilometres classified as intermediate, with a further 3 kilometres of difficult runs to challenge the experts. This means there is definitely more for the intermediates to take advantage of, although with so much to choose from, skiers and snowboarders of all abilities will be thoroughly entertained. In addition to the slopes there is a natural ice skating rink and a snowtubing piste. You can even use part of the ski piste for tobogganing or bobsleigh.
The eatery options are endless here, with an abundance of culinary delights, mountain restaurants, cafés for a quick snack and bars for après ski. Restaurant du Cret du Midi has some fantastic wines on offer and the La Godille is the ideal place for both après-ski and a late-night drink.
