Charlotte Pass is a ski resort and village located in the snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. It boasts the reputation of being Australia’s highest resort and due to being snowbound it is only accessible by an 8-kilometre snow cat ride from Perisher Valley. This is what makes it a perfect and unique snow experience that is unlike any other.
With 10 kilometres of slopes and elevation rangers between 1,765 and 1,954 metres, this resort is guaranteed to provide something for every ability. If you’re a beginner testing out your snow legs and skis for the first time then there is 1 kilometre of ‘easy’ blue slopes including the ‘Easy Starter’ slope. More advanced skiers can try out the 8 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes and carve it up on the ‘Kosi Coaster’ slope. The more experienced skiers looking for adventure can have fun on the 1 kilometre of ‘expert’ black slopes, including ‘Sidewinder’ or get an adrenalin rush on ‘Guthrie’s Chute’.
With such a ranging variety of slopes, an abundance of alternative activities such as snow shoe walking and tobogganing and a mix of fantastic restaurants, bars and cafes for après ski, this resort shows why it is a fantastic choice for the whole family.
