A true Austrian ski resort, with rustic huts, elevations of 850 and 1,770m, the Loser – Altaussee ski resort can be found in Styria, Steiermark, Salzkammergut.
This remarkable resort offers 33km of varied slopes, 18km of easy slopes for beginners, 12km of intermediate slopes for novice skiers and 3km of difficult slopes for expert skiers and boarders, al slopes are exceptionally prepared, the easy and intermediate slopes on the Sandling side lead through the forest glades, on the Loser side the slopes descend from above treelines. The free ride zones are highly spoken of and considered some of the most outstanding in the Alps. The longest run is the family slope, the most difficult run is Loser-Alm-Schuss, other attractive runs include Sandingalm and FIS slope.
This family friendly resort caters for all skiing capabilities, offering 2 ski schools, not only for beginners but also for novice and advanced skiers looking to perfect their skills. Beginner slopes dominate the area at the base stations.
