The ski resort Annaberg is located in the District of Lilienfeld, Austria and is only 1 and a half hours away from Vienna. With 12.5 kilometres of perfectly groomed and prepared slopes it is easy to see why this is a firm favourite for many skiers.
In total, there are 12.5 kilometres of expansive runs perfect for skiers and boarders of all abilities. With elevations between 896 and 1,334 meters, residents and visitors can take advantage of everything this resort has to offer. Expert athletes will feel comfortable on the 2 kilometres of black runs and the more challenging FID-suitable slopes, as well as being able to experience Anna Park, with rails, boxing and a permanent ski and boardercross course. At the opposite end of the scale, families and beginners will appreciate the 2.5 kilometres of red runs and the 8 kilometres of gentle slopes in the flat area of the Reidlift of ‘Anna Land’ which has 2 practice lifts and fun figures for children to enjoy.
But it is not only skiing on offer here, as there are also a wealth of hiking trails for those who want to experience something a little less exhilarating with some trails being led by qualified instructors. For après-ski, ‘Anna Alm’ situated within the resort, is a fantastic alpine ski hut with a large sun terrace and beautiful panoramic views at the highest point of the ski resort, perfect for those wanting to take a little break from the slopes.
