The Ski Resort Christlum–Achenkirch is located in Tyrol, Austria. Only an hour away from the centres of Munich and Innsbruck, this outstanding resort provides idyllic snowy landscapes and some fantastic ski slopes suited to any ability.
This resort attracts a diverse range of residents who are keen to experience everything the area has to offer. With elevation ranges between 950 and 1,800 metres with a leaning towards easy and intermediate slopes, it an ideal destination for novice skiers and families, although it does provide an expert slope for those who are confident skiers and up for the challenge of something a little more ambitious. In totality, there are 6 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes, 16 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes and 5 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes so whether you are one of the most inexperienced of skiers or highly skilled and ambitious, there are plenty of opportunities for endless fun on the pistes. There is also a newly built Funpark which allows children and novices to improve their skills next to the normal slopes.
Alongside the variety of slopes, there is also a huge amount of other activities for people to enjoy, for example tobogganing, and cross-country skiing for those who are looking for a little more adventure. For those wanting to relax after a day on the slopes then the restaurant ‘Christlum Alm’ has a cosy lounge chairs out on the sun terrace for you to relax in. In the evening, the atmosphere heats up at the Après Ski Salettl, which serves a range of food and beverages which can be enjoyed under the stars.
