Janské Lázně resort information

The ski resort Černá hora – Janské Lázně is located in Černá hora - Pec, the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. With over 15 kilometres of slopes, a further 2.5 kilometres of additional ski routes and elevations between 600 and 1,260 metres it is the largest ski resort in the Czech Republic.

The resort consists of slopes suitable for all abilities but is more targeted towards more confident, intermediate skiers. That being said, there is something for everyone to enjoy a fantastic winter holiday in the snow. There are 3.2 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes where slowing down and easy gliding is ensured. The 10.9 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes give the more confident skiers that extra bit of a challenge and the 1 kilometre of ‘expert’ black slopes guarantee the most experienced of skiers are pushed to their limits.

For cross-country skiers, there are over 50 km of cross-country tracks as well as a unique 3.5 km long toboggan run. If it is something a little calmer you are after then why not take a snowshoe hike through the crunchy snow and the crystal-clear mountain air on a prepared trail. Food, drink and relaxation can be enjoyed within the mountains, where guests can experience local Czech cuisine or even a beverage outside on one of the heated terrace bars. Pizza & Restaurant Protěž is highly popular with guests and is located directly at the lower station of the four-seater chairlift. At this resort, there really is something for everyone who loves winter.
