Situated in the Hradec Králové region of the Czech Republic, the Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort is a stunning spot for skiing and snowboarding, with 24.3km of slopes to choose from. There are a total of 17 ski lifts available and elevation between 702m and 1,235m.
Set within the highest mountains in the Czech Republic, known as the Giant Mountains, the resort is known for panoramic views over the valley and loved by locals and tourists alike. There are 8.1km of easy runs, 13.8km of intermediate runs and 2.4km of difficult runs. For those who want to enjoy a particularly hard course, there is an FIS World Cup black slope called Svatý Petr. In addition, there is a valley run, a snow park for children, a halfpipe for freestylers to show off some tricks and night skiing allows for extra-long days of skiing.
Visitors and residents will want to find themselves a comfortable spot in a bar and restaurant, as well as some delicious food. Highlights in the area include Restaurace Orange le Moon, Restaurace Myslivna and Abacante for some tasty cocktails.
