Nestled in the panoramic Pyrenees National Park, in the Arrondissement of Oloron-Sainte-Marie is the Ski Resort Artouste. Perfect for skiers and snowboarders, this resort benefits from a wide range of slopes as well as some exceptional natural settings.

With elevation ranges between 1,400 and 2,100 meters and containing 27 kilometres of slopes the resort guarantees variety for all abilities. The 8 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes within the ‘Sagette sector’ are particularly suitable for beginners and young children who are looking to take it easy. ‘Sector Arracou’ is ideal for those who are a little more advanced and consist of 8 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ slopes. If it is something a little more exhilaration you're after then ‘Secteur Séous’ is the area for you. Dedicated to more experienced skiers, it ensures ambitious skiers and professionals can have endless fun on the pistes.

But the fun doesn’t end on the slopes, there is a wealth of activities to enjoy. Experience the National Park and the Valley of Ossau as never before by taking a snowshoe hike lead by one of the resorts mountain guides. Sledding, tobogganing and fat biking are also highly popular choices for guests and residents.

Le Pamplona and Auberge du Caviste are only 2 of the vast amounts of bars, terraces and restaurants perfect for those who are wanting to wind down and relax after a day on the slopes.
