The Ballon Dalsace is situated in the village Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle. This is a small and private location with some spectacular views, this is the perfect choice for an intimate skiing break. With elevations of 810m – 1231m (a difference of 421m), this ski resort boasts 2.1km of easy runs, 1.8km of medium runs and 0.8km of difficult runs. There are 10 lifts in total shipping skiers to different elevations on the mountain. There are plenty of dining options available, however it is the views and ambience of the resort that attract loyal visitors.
This beautiful petite town boasts some breath-taking views. If time is all you have whilst at the resort, then checking out the views from Le Grand Ballon is a must. This is a world-famous spot where many people of the world have witnessed some magnificent sights. It showcases 360-degree views of the village and surrounding area. The tip of the Mountain rises 3310ft and is known to be the highest point in Lower Vosges, it is also a landmark between Alsace and Lorraine.
