Located in the Maurienne area of France, Les Sybelles is a large ski resort with over 310km slopes waiting to be discovered. Residents and visitors are likely to be awe-inspired by the amount of routes to explore, ideal for skiing beginners all the way up to those advanced enthusiasts that need a challenge.
This French resort incorporates six smaller resorts in the local vicinity, that collectively offer a huge array of different terrain for skiers and snowboarders to try. Resorts include La Toussuire, Le Corbier, Les Bottiéres, St Columban des Villards, St Jean D’Arves and St Sorlin D’Arves.
At an elevation ranging between 1,100 and 2,620 metres, there are plenty of slopes to challenge and excite the intermediate skier, including wide courses above the treeline and longer steeper slopes over 7km in length. To retain snow for as long as possible the resort also has 514 snow cannons to produce artificial snow on a quarter of their slopes.
In addition, residents and visitors can make the most of the snowpark for experienced freestylers and the Arvapark (or easypark) for beginners. There are also a huge array of amenities including great places to eat such as Le Tonneau (for the cheese fondue) and L’Ecurie for its friendly atmosphere, as well as six friendly villages to explore whilst taking a break from the slopes.
