Pelvoux resort information

Situated in the Haute-Alpes region of France, within the scenic Écrins National Park, Pelvoux is the perfect all-round ski resort. If features 25km of slopes, with 12 marked pistes serviced by nine ski lifts.

Sitting at elevations between 1250m and 2300m, the resort is a popular choice for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. There are plenty of valley runs, ideally suited for beginners or those looking for a more leisurely trail. There is also an exhilarating 1.3km black run, stretching down from the resort's peak, that's perfect for advanced skiers in search of a thrill.

For those looking for different winter sports activities, there's the Nordic Alpes du Sud resort in nearby Vallouise. The resort offers plenty of Nordic-style winter activities. There are family-friendly options like snowshoe walking and Siberian dog-sledging. There is also a biathlon trail and fat-biking routes. Adrenaline junkies will also enjoy the three-lane luge track at the resort.

Aside from the winter sports activities, the area surrounding Pelvoux is great for sightseeing. There are plenty of beautiful trails within Écrins National Park. The Écrins National Park House, which has lots of interesting exhibits and tourist information, is also worth a visit.

If you're looking for sustenance after a day on the slopes, there are plenty of dining options around the region of Pelvoux-Vallouise. The family-friendly La Table de Nany offers a menu filled with comforting classics, or if you prefer more traditional French dining, there's Les Rhododendrons, which is popular with both locals and tourists.
