Situated in the Chablais region of France, the Thollon les Mémises ski resort is a well-equipped winter destination, attracting avid skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. There are up to 50km of fresh slopes available, along with 14 ski lifts for guests to get around the resort easily and in comfort. There are also elevations of between 1,000m and 2,000m.
In total, there are 20km of easy blue slopes and 30km of intermediate red slopes, but no difficult black slopes at the resort. The emphasis here is on complete beginners looking at having their very first skiing holiday, and those with limited experience looking for plenty of diverse options when they’re thinking of challenging themselves. There is a valley run available for guests to explore the area, as well as a snow park for freestyle skiers to get to grips with. Lastly, there are artificial snow-making facilities at the resort to ensure guests wake up every day with fresh slopes.
For avid winter sports fans who need a bite to eat after a long day on the slopes, there are plenty of options in the immediate vicinity. Highlights of bars and restaurants include Restaurant L'Outa, Le XV restaurant and A Choumas'.
