The ski resort Espace Villard Corrençon–Villard-de-Lans/Corrençon-en-Vercors is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble, France and was hosts of the 1968 winter Olympic Games. With elevations of 1,050 and 2,050 metres and over 125 kilometres of varied runs suitable for all ages and abilities it is the largest Alpine ski resort on the Vercors.
The domain of the Rambins in Corrençon is ideal for beginner skiers and younger families as there is 50 kilometres of blue runs with gentle slopes and extra wide ski highways, perfect for mastering stopping and turning. There is another 50 kilometres of red runs ideal for those who are more intermediate skiers, whilst the Colline des Bains area is heaven for expert skiers as they can revel in 22 kilometres of exhilarating black slopes. There really is something for everyone so that novice skiers through to perfectionists can experience unforgettable days on the slopes.
However, the fun doesn’t stop there as there is a multitude of other activities including airboarding, Nordic walking, Cani walks with the samoyed dogs and guests can even choose to take part in snow biathlons. There is also a wide range of restaurants that provide a mix between the great French and Italian cuisines and famous local recipes. ‘The Altitude 2000’ is in Villard-de-Lans, located at 1720 metres it offers outstanding views as well as delicious food and drinks.
