The Ski Resort Alpe Lusia – Moena/Bellamonte is located in the Val Di Fiemme and in the Val Di Fassa Italy and is only a short 1 hour 5 minutes away from Bolzano Airport. Offering a wide range of difficulty for skiers and snowboarders, visitors and residents are able to experience elevations between 1,370 and 2,340 meters on over 27.5 kilometres of diverse slopes.
Throughout the resort, there is certainly an emphasis on easier slopes, which are perfect for those who are trying out skiing for the first time. For those wanting a little more of an adrenaline rush, the famous Piavac Run is the steepest run in the whole ski area, starting at an altitude of 2,196m and descending to 1,769m at the valley floor. Providing 12.9 kilometres of easy slopes, 10.6 kilometres of intermediate runs and 4km of expert runs, Alpe Lusia caters for every skiing ability.
Another particular selling point of the resort is its amazing snow park which is perfect for boarding. Morea Snowpark is 900m of pure fun and has 6m of pipe as well as 8m of double kincked pipes. There are wooden features suitable for every level from beginners to pro and boarders can tackle up to 17 features in a row.
Activities within the resort aren't just limited to skiing and snowboarding, as visitors and guests can discover the mountains on a panoramic 3-hour lead excursion, go on a romantic sleigh ride or eat at some of the many restaurants and bars. Malga Pozza has a certificate of excellence and serves some great Italian food. After dining guests can relax in a lounger on the terrace - a perfect place for a break from the slopes.
