You will find the Ski resort Abetone/Val-di-Luce located in the Province of Pistoia, Tuscany. The resort became a renowned skiing resort when one of the greatest Italian skiers was born here in 1920 and has continued to thrive ever since, being a favourite resort for many skiers and winter sports enthusiasts.
It encompasses a vast 41km of interlinked slopes with elevations ranging between 1,240m - 1,892m, resulting in a variety of breath-taking landscapes and terrain to explore. These slopes are enough to challenge any skier or snowboarder and consist of two blue runs (Selletta and Chierroni) which are suitable for even the most novice of skiers. Located just on the other side of the mountain are three more slopes including two red slopes and one black. The ski lifts here include a chairlift, a ski lift and a cable car which enables residents to be at one with the marvellous wooded areas of Tuscany.
