Situated in the Ortles Region of Italy, the Sulden am Ortler (Solda all'Ortles) ski resort is a wonderful example of some of the best skiing and snowboarding terrain on offer. Guests have the opportunity to try out 44km of fresh slopes during the winter season and 10 ski lifts to navigate the resort comfortably and easily. Elevations at the resort lie between 1,900m and 3,250m, allowing for a huge range of different surfaces for visitors and residents to discover.
The resort is separated into three sections; the Langenstein, the Kanzel and the Schöntaufspitze. Between them, there are 17km of easy blue slopes, 13km of intermediate red runs and 14km of difficult black runs for skiers and snowboarders to find at the resort. The balance here ensures that there is something here for everyone, so beginners can be taking their first steps on the snow whilst those with some experience and pro-skiers can seek out their next challenge. The two red slopes that come recommended are Rosim, which winds its way through a forest aisle all the way to the valley, and Des Alpes which is long and offers a diverse amount of terrain to discover.
Lastly, there is a snow park for younger skiers to enjoy themselves and also night skiing on offer for those who want to get the most out of every single day during their stay.
