Afriski Mountain Resort resort information

The Afriski Mountain Resort is the only ski resort located in Lesotho, South Africa, being only one of two resorts in the whole country. Even though the resort may be small, it is provides a close knit, family feel and doesn’t fail to disappoint as residents are blown away with the views on arrival. Afriski is an all year round mountain adventure destination with a vast range of activities, suitable for both summer and winter visits. With over 19 accommodation options, the Gondola Cafe and a stunning restaurant, the Afriski Mountain Resort is well known for offering a relaxing ski holiday which is ideal for families and skiers of all abilities.

The resort includes elevations between 3,030m to 3,222m over 1.8km of slopes. The residents can enjoy Skiing or boarding on the main beginner or intermediate slopes, as well as boarding down ‘Bumboard Alley’. When it’s time to take a quick rest from the slopes the kids can explore in Kapoko or Pudi Kids, the two fun snow parks, conveniently located just outside the Gondola cafe meaning ‘big kids’ can kick back, relax with a warm beverage.

There are many different activities this resort has to offer including fishing, hiking, mountain biking on a guided endurance ride, paintball and even for those of you who want to take part in something a little different, high altitude fitness classes.
