Bellwald is a beautiful Swiss resort which has its own little village, close enough to neighbouring towns such as Furgangen, which is approximately 8km away and worth a visit.
The resort has elevations of between 1204m and 1600m (difference 958m). Altogether there are over 31km of slopes available ranging from beginners to advanced. There are 9km of runs for beginners and those who lack confidence, 21km of runs for intermediate skiers and 6km for advanced skiers with 5 operational lifts available to ferry visitors and residents around.
There are many different skiing experiences on offer here, not only for adults but also for children too. For very young children the childcare facilities are wonderful, the staff are all trained and allow for the children to play in the snow park so parents can feel at ease.
If the slopes aren’t enough and you’re looking for more action then why not seek out the sledge slope? Or hiking in Unesco, from Park Jungfrau-Aletsch to the Risihorn it is 2876 m. above sea level, leading to stunning views and picture-perfect moments.
