The ski resort Corvatsch/Furtschellas is located in Engadin St. Moritz, Eastern Switzerland and features the highest mountain station in Grisons. It is a large resort with 14 lifts that offers skiers an incredible winter experience set amidst spectacular alpine scenery.
With elevation ranges between 1,797 and 3,303 metres and over 120 kilometres of interlinking slopes, there really is something for everyone, from novice skiers who are getting to grips with their skis for the first time or if you’re an ambitious powder professional, there’s a guaranteed slope for you. The Mandra and 13 kilometres of easy runs are perfect for beginners and families. The resort has more slopes targeted to confident skiers with 89 kilometres of intermediate runs including the Mandra and Rabgiusa. Thrill seekers will find high altitudes and steep terrains on over 17 kilometres of expert runs such as Fuorcla. Winter sports lovers will also find perfectly groomed ski slopes on Switzerland’s longest floodlit night run which is 4.2 kilometres long.
For Freestylers and boarders there is a large snow park which is the biggest snow park in the Alps, with obstacles such as a bag jumps, kick boards and off-piste descents with a “big mountain” feeling. There is also much more to do at the resort, for example walking along the Ustaria - the ultimate trail for snowshoe trekkers, ice climbing at 3,303 metres above sea level.
There are several fantastic restaurants that provide a place to take a break during a day of skiing, the Kuhstall is a stylish bar with a sun terrace and the Stüvetta Giand´Alva at the base station serves mouth-watering food for all the family.
