For those who particularly enjoy the Swiss skiing, the Sörenberg – Rothorn/Dorf should have everything a winter sports fan should need, including 53km of fresh slopes to explore. Located in the Canton of Lucerne area of Switzerland, this resort has an elevation of between 1,100m and 2,350m, along with 17 ski lifts to transport guests to their chosen slope.
In its entirety, there are 30km of easy blue slopes, 15km of intermediate red slopes and 8km of difficult black slopes. This variety ensures that there is something to suit every skiing ability. Beginners are catered for with gentle, relaxed slopes whilst adventurous pro-skiers or even well-experienced skiers have plenty to surfaces to explore and enjoy too. There is a snow park here (that also includes a fun park for children) as well as a speed measurement course, artificial snow-making facilities and night skiing for those who need to extend their day.
Visitors and residents won’t go hungry at this resort, especially as there is a variety of bars and restaurants on offer that cater to families, groups of friends and couples.
