Hohsaas – Saas-Grund ski resort can be found in the beautiful Free Republic of Holidays Saas-Fee, Valalis, Lemanic Region, Switzerland, offering magnificent views with a mountain backdrop, this is one of the most beautiful resorts in the area.
This medium size resort offers guests a variety of slopes, primarily focused on intermediate skiers, however, there are easy and difficult terrains also available. In total guests can enjoy 34.5km of slopes, 12km easy, 21.3km of intermediate and 1.2km of difficult runs. The longest run here at Hohsaas is the Hohsaas to base which is 8km in length, the most difficult run is the Hohkraut Glacier which is 2km. Elevations here are high at 1,559 and 3,142m. There is also a valley run from the base in Saas-Grund and a ski route which leads down to Saas-Balen.
For beginners, take the gondola lift to the Kreuzboden (2400m), here there are wide slopes, a children’s area, restaurants and a snow park. On the Hohsaas is where the intermediate and difficult slopes are situated, the glacier top are wide and wonderful with great inclines. At this point guests are also able to enjoy the magnificent 18 four-thousand-metre peaks of the Saas Valley.
