The Oeschinensee – Kandersteg ski resort is a hidden treasure located in Kandertal, Bernese Oberland, Bern, Espace Mittelland, Switzerland.
This beautiful location offers some magnificent views, taking a moment to stand back and appreciate the surroundings add to the beauty that is beholden here, all best witnessed whilst on the hiking trails which are available. For skiing and snowboarding there are 12km of easy and intermediate terrain to explore, 5.8km of easy runs, perfect for beginners to learn the required skills and balancing techniques they require before being able to adventure onto more difficult slopes. Intermediate skiers are able to enjoy 6.2km of slopes and a valley run to explore.
Elevations at Oeschinensee are between 1,200m and 1,680m, there are 4 lifts operating daily to transport guests. For alternative experiences there is a snow park which free style skiers tend to enjoy, sledging is a wonderful attraction which everyone enjoys. There are restaurants dotted throughout the resort so guests are always able to stop and enjoy refreshments, snacks and bites to eat.
