The ski resort Espace Dôle–La Dôle/Les Tuffes is located in Les Rousses, France and passes into the Lake Geneva Region of Switzerland and boasts some magnificent view of Lake Geneva, Mount Blanc and the surrounding Alps from the top of La Dôle!
Consisting of 28.1 kilometres of slopes, elevation ranges between 1,137 and 1,678 metres and an abundance of alternative activities and amenities, it is clear to see why this is a popular resort of choice. If you are just beginning to learn how to ski, the resort has 17 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue runs and flat trails, Reculets-Dessous is ideal for those who are just starting out. There is also a designated area for younger children to ski, have fun and play in the snow, Baby-Jouvencelles and Jacbeys are perfect slopes for first time skiers. There is also a ski school located just by these slopes as they are ideal training grounds for beginners to practice and access the mini lifts. There are 8.7 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red runs ‘Les Lesines’ is a superb slope to give those with a little more skill that extra challenge. If its extreme exhilaration you are after then why not try ‘Les Quatre-Murs’ or ‘Reculets-Dessus’ two of the 2.4 kilometres of ‘expert’ black runs.
Alongside the wide variety of slopes, there is a wide range of other activities, for example, cruising down the toboggan run, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and even meeting the mushers and their sled dogs on a dog sled ride.
