The Torrent – Leukerbad ski resort can be found nestled in the Dalatal region of Switzerland. As a medium-sized resort, it has 47.2km of slopes and 6km of marked ski routes available for skiers and snowboarders to revel in. There are 12 ski lifts available for guests to use when traversing the resort and the resort itself is at an elevation of 1,411m and 2,610m.
Guests can enjoy the resort at their own pace here, from those pleasure skiers taking their time to active winter sports fans wanting to race down every slope. There are 3.5km of easy blue runs, 26.9km of intermediate red runs and 16.8km of difficult black runs. This ensures that there is literally something here for every level of skier, including complete novices who have never touched snow and the thrill-seeking skiers who feel at home round sharp turns and steep drops.
Skiers and snowboarders can find some fantastic scenic courses here, including the Waldpiste-Flaschenhalde slope at 6.5km long through the forest, and the Lingelen slope leading off from the Schwalbennest lift. The most difficult run at the resort is the Alter Stafel FIS course at 2.5km on length and an elevation difference of 500m.
