Located in the the Haslital, Bernese Oberland of Switzerland is the Ski Resort Meiringen-Hasliberg, providing ski fun for the whole family in an awe-inspiring backdrop. Situated in a very handy location as it is only 1-hour transfer from Bern Airport or 1 hour 20 minutes away from Zurich Airport. Residents can take advantage of the 60 kilometres of varied pistes to ski and snowboard on, all the way through the scenic alpine slopes.
This resort attracts a diverse range of residents who are keen to experience everything the area has to offer. With elevation ranges between 1,055 and 2,433 meters with a leaning towards easy and intermediate slopes, it an ideal destination for novice skiers and families, although it does provide expert slopes for those who are confident skiers and up for the challenge of something a little more ambitious. Beginners will feel at home on the 20 kilometres of blue slopes and in the Skihaesliland area of the resort. Intermediate skiers will get their fix on 34 kilometres of red slopes whilst expert skiers can test their endurance skills on 6 kilometres of black slopes including the Nordpol run which is 1 kilometre in length and is the resorts most demanding slope.
Winter hiking as well as tobogganing are but some of the alternative activities the resort has to offer. For après-ski, residents can warm up and refresh after a strenuous and beautiful day of skiing in the cosy and homely guest house. With friendly company and tasty meals, it is easy for one to spend so many hours here and unwind for some well needed and deserved rest and relaxation.
