Buerchen/Toerbel, Moosalp can be found in Visp, Switzerand. There are a total of 25km of slopes available for skiing and snowboarding, with 9 lifts to take guests up to the top of their chosen run. Elevations are between 1480m and 2550m and conveniently, Burchen ski resort is located just 50 minutes away from the nearest airport.
There are different levels of skiing available and the slopes are divided accordingly. With Easy trails taking up 5km of slopes, intermediate runs over 15km of slopes and difficult runs covering 5km of slopes.
Burchen ski resort with the Moosalp is situated at the highest plateau above the Rhone Valley. The Burchen resort is enclosed by the stunning Valais mountain landscape. This is a family focused resort which involves children, making it perfect for families. The Kinderparadies Bürchen-Bodmen children's area is specially equipped for the first skiing and snowboarding experience, there is a separate skiing area for the children to be able to learn techniques required by using the small tunnels, slalom poles and mini jumps.
If skiing has tired you out, or a change of scenery is required why not try one of the other alternatives, hiking paths, snow shoe trails, cross-country trail and sledging, all provide various hours of fun as opposed to the skiing between Burchen and Torbet.
