Rougemont resort information

The ski resort Eggli/La Videmanette – Gstaad/Saanen/Rougemont is located in Gstaad, Switzerland and is a very popular resort for both visitors and locals. With elevations between 992 and 2,151 metres and over 58 kilometres of slopes, there really is something to suit every taste. Covering pistes of all difficulties skiers can choose to take it easy on the 35 kilometres of easy slopes, build up their confidence on 17.4 kilometres of intermediate slopes or really show off their endurance skills on the 5.4 kilometres of downhill expert slopes.

The resort itself has 35.2 kilometres of blue runs, 17.4 kilometres of red runs and 5.4 kilometres of expert black runs, with a total of 17 lifts making transportation around the mountains and slopes that much easier. This huge resort is split into 3 sectors, sector one is the largest sector and consists of mostly easy runs, where you will find several bars, restaurants and cafes to stop for refreshments as well as a toboggan run, cross country ski routes and a base for paragliding. Sector 2 is smallest section and is referred to as Glacier 3,000, it's the perfect area for those who seek a total adrenaline rush. It is here you will find an eatery at the peak of Quille de Diable which is 2,908 metres above sea level. Whilst sector 3 contains the majority of ‘intermediate’ red runs as well as a toboggan run and 3 restaurants.
