As one of the largest ski resorts in Switzerland, the Titlis – Engelberg skiing area has 72km of slopes in offer to skiers and snowboarders, who travel from all over the world during the winter season. There are 19 ski lifts available here, along with elevations between 1,000m and 3,020m, ensuring a diverse amount of terrain, and practically guaranteed snowfall at higher altitudes.
All in all, the combination of high altitudes on the Titlis Glacier, and the phenomenal artificial snow cannons at the resort mean that the winter season here lasts for 8 months between October and May every year. During a skiing holiday, guests should expect to discover 34km of easy blue slopes, 26km of intermediate red slopes and 12km of difficult black slopes. There is a fantastic balance of slopes, attracting winter sports enthusiasts of all abilities to the resort. The longest run at the resort is 12km, stretching all the way from the Titlis station, across the Trübsee to Engelberg, with a staggering elevation difference of 2020m. Other recommended slopes include the Stand-Rindertitlis and the Joch Pass-Trübsee.
Visitors and residents are advised to enjoy one of the resorts wonderful bars or restaurants in the evening, including Restaurant Wasserfall, Titlis Restaurant and Restaurant Alpstübli.
