The combined resorts of Villars/Gryon/Les Diablerets can be found in the Canton of Waadt, Switzerland. It offers superb scenery as well as a variety of perfectly groomed slopes for all abilities from the most novice of skiers right up to powder professionals and is a Swiss skiing paradise for everyone who loves the winter sport.
With a whopping 84 kilometres of slopes set between elevations of 1,224 and 2,120 metres, there is a perfect variety of terrain for all abilities to take advantage of. The slopes can be divided by skill levels, with 43 kilometres of easy slopes, 38 kilometres of intermediate slopes and 3 kilometres of difficult slopes available. The weighting towards easy means there are plenty of opportunities for skiers and snowboarders who are looking to find their feet in the snow. In addition, there is the magnificent snow park on the Chaux-Ronde trail which has a range of obstacles boxes and rails for snowboarders to show off their skills.
If it is something a little calmer you are after then why not take a snowshoe hike through the crunchy snow and the crystal-clear mountain air on a prepared trail. Food, drink and relaxation can be enjoyed within the mountains, where guests can experience local Swiss cuisine or even a beverage outside on one of the heated terrace bars.
